Lafayette gets busy at Smalls Jazz Club
On Feb 23rd, 2012 Lafayette Harris will return to Smalls Jazz Club again. This this time he will appear with his large group! Featuring George Delancey on bass, Will Terrill on drums, trumpeter Antoine Drye and vocalist Jazzmeia Horn.

Lafayette performed the 7th of December 2011 in Fukuoka at "Space Terra".
Wednesday - Dec. 7, 2011, Lafayette was featured with Japanese song stylist Akemi. It was a very memorable night for all present.

White Kawai Grand Piano For Sale
Lafayette has a piano for sale! This Japanese made piano was purchased in 2003 for $12,000. Lafayette is offering it for $6000. He is entertaining all offers.
This piano is in excellent condition and is available for rental as well.

Lafayette was at The Blue Note!
Lafayette appeared at The Blue Note again with his trio on Nov. 29, 2009. This was his followup to his 2008 appearance of leading a group at the Blue Note a club where so much of his New York jazz experience took place.
Lafayette's newest CD TRIO TALK was released May of 2008.

The Open mic is still going at the Lenox Lounge
After nine years Lafayette is still hosting this open mic jam session every Sunday from 7 - 11 pm. Many people have come from all over the world, to sing one with Lafayette and his trio.

Lafayette visited Asia in Feb. 2008
Lafayette went to Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok and Chiang Mai back in February of this year. He learned a lot about Asian culture and heard some good jazz players.

Open mic at the Lenox Lounge
A lot of veterans have made it uptown to Lafayette's session. Rome Neal, a frequent visitor is an artist who performs and stars in MONK, his own show about Thelonious Monk. He also frequently presents plays and other performances at The Nuyorican Poets Café!
