Lafayette's newest CD finished it's second week by debuting at NUMBER 31 ON THE JAZZWEEK CHART! In it's first week it was the fifth most added CD!

Lafayette was in Bolzano, at the Südtirol Jazz Festival back in June, and then was back in Italy again for the Roccella Jazz Festival, in Roccella Jonica.

After six years Lafayette is still hosting this open mic jam session every Sunday from 7 - 11 pm. Many people have come from all the US and as you see from the picture with these Japanese singers, all over the world, to sing one song with Lafayette and his trio.
Besides Lafayette, the ever swinging band features Paul Beaudry on bass and Dion Parson on drums.

Lafayette went to Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok and Chiang Mai back in February of this year. He learned a lot about Asian culture and heard some good jazz players.

Lafayette recently played with the one and only Ms. Ernestine Anderson, at the Iridium this past February. Then again back in April at Dizzy's Coca Cola, NYC. They will play the Albany Jazz Festival on Sept. 6th, 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm, and look for them back at Dizzy's next Valentine week!
